A local tech expert, not a call centre
Friendly, patient help from someone who shows up on time and explains things properly.
Hi, I'm Dillon. I've worked in professional IT for over five years and have a computer science degree — but the part of the job I actually love is watching a frustrating problem finally make sense to someone.
I started Dillon's Tech Help after watching too many people get passed around call centres, sold things they didn't need, or made to feel silly for asking a simple question. It shouldn't be like that. Good tech help is mostly good manners: turn up when you said you would, explain things properly, and charge a fair price.
A visit from me is unhurried. You show me the problem, I fix it on the spot, and I explain what I'm doing as I go — in plain English, at whatever pace suits you. If it helps, I'll leave written step-by-step notes behind so you're never stuck once I've driven off.
Windows, Mac, or Linux, phones, tablets, printers, smart TVs — whatever you own, I've almost certainly fixed one before. And when you ring, you get me, the same person, every time. No hold music, no scripts, no being read to off a screen from the other side of the world.
— Dillon
My promise to you
Tech help should leave you feeling more confident, not more confused. Every visit works the same way:
- Plain English, always — no jargon, no talking down
- Upfront pricing before any work starts
- No fix, no fee — if I can't sort it, you don't pay
- The same person every time: me
